The Antalya Museum or Antalya Archeological Museum is one of Turkey's largest museums, located in Konyaaltı, Antalya .
The museum was closed to visitors because of the great need of renovation and restoration in 1982. Following the restoration and renovation carried out by the General Directorate of Ancient Works and Museums, it was reopened in April 1985 in its new approach, and organized to allow an understanding based on the contemporary museum.
The museum has 13 display halls,a children's section and open galleries. Works of art, are generally presented chronologically and according to their subjects.
